PRAU

PRAU

Open-source configurable Posit arithmetic unit supporting extended numerical operations.

Open-source configurable hardware Posit Arithmetic Unit supporting posit sizes from 8–64 bits. Implements standard posit operations plus optional log-approximate multiplication, division, sqrt, and quire (exact accumulation). Derived from the PAU in the PERCIVAL RISC-V core; used by Coprosit and PHEE projects.
